Delete Your Account

Applies to the Byteless app by Deep Woods Software

You can delete your Byteless account and its data at any time. There are two ways, depending on whether you still have the app.

In the app (fastest)

If you have Byteless installed, this is immediate and self-serve - no waiting on us:

• Open Byteless and go to Account.
• Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
• Confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away and you're signed out.

No longer have the app?

Email hello@deepwoodssoftware.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We use that to confirm the request is really yours, and we will delete your account and data within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes, and cannot be undone:

• Your profile and display name.
• Your Backlog standing and member number.
• Your in-app purchase history and any content tied to your account.
• Your saved activity, such as what you've read or submitted.

What may be kept

Our payment processors (Stripe and RevenueCat) keep their own records of any purchases for as long as the law requires (for example, tax and accounting rules). We retain that limited transaction information only as needed and only as long as required. See our Privacy Policy for details. This page uses no forms and no tracking.
